Dave Coulier's (pronounced Cool-Yay) story is a refreshing one for Hollywood - nice guys can finish first. As an actor/ comedian/voice-over artist, his many talents are much in demand. From standup comedy on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, to his starring role on the hit television series, Full House, Dave has covered the spectrum of family entertainment.
Dave is perhaps best known for his work on the long-running hit ABC television series, "Full House", which aired for eight seasons (1987-1995, with 192 shows produced) and can now be seen in worldwide syndication in over 100 countries. Dave followed this success by hosting his second prime-time hit series "America's Funniest People", which ran on ABC for four seasons (1991-1994). Additionally, Dave handled the hosting chores for ABC's "The World's Funniest Videos", and hosted his own series for Nickelodeon, "Out of Control".
With his entire career rooted in family entertainment, it seemed to be a natural fit for Dave to form his own children's entertainment company. The result, F3 Entertainment, was founded in early 2001 and is already enjoying great success with its first, two-CD release, " Weaver Beaver and Friends," which are available at Borders Books nationwide.
You may have just seen Dave as one of the judges on the new family reality show, My Life Is A Sitcom, on the ABC Family network. He will also star as the voices of Felix The Cat, The Professor and Rock Bottom in several upcoming Felix The Cat animated feature films for video release. Dave has also provided voices for Dexter's Laboratory on the Cartoon Network, as well as The Zeta Project for Warner Brothers.
Dave is now hosting a new TV series, "Animal Kidding" on the popular Animal Planet network. "It's kind of like, Kids Say The Darndest Things with animals, and a lot of hidden camera bits," says Dave.
Highly regarded for his voice-over talent, Dave's additional credits include many Saturday morning cartoon favorites. He started out doing voices on Hanna-Barber's "Scooby Doo" and the re-syndicated version of "The Jetson's". Dave then went on to lend his versatile voice to Jim Henson's Emmy Award-winning animated series, "Muppet Babies", where he portrayed Animal and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew for the run of the series, and then became the voice of three additional characters: Waldorf and Statler and Bean Bunny. Additionally, Dave also voiced the character of Peter Venkman on "The Real Ghostbusters" cartoon.
Some of Dave's additional credits include guest appearances on such television series as "Newhart" and "Family Ties" and the game shows "To Tell the Truth" and "Hollywood Squares". Dave's stand-up act earned him regular appearances on "The Tonight Show," HBO's "Detroit Comedy Jam," Showtime's "Laugh-A-Thon" and "Evening At The lmprov" for the A&E Network. His additional credits include performing on HBO's "Comic Relief," frequent guest spots on "The Arsenio Hall Show" and "The Dennis Miller Show," and hosting "The 4th Annual Kids' Choice Awards" on Nickelodeon and A&E's "Evening At The lmprov." Dave continues to enjoy sold out performances of his stand up act across the country.
