Mike Schlappi, four-time Olympic medal winner and two-time World Champion, has proven that just because you can't stand up doesn't mean you can't stand out. He is the only wheelchair basketball player in the United States to have competed in the Olympic games in Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta, and Sydney. Mike Schlappi earned his Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. He is an author who has written and published two books about success and motivation.

He was a member of the Board of Trustees for the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.
