Mike Schlappi, four-time Olympic medal winner and two-time World Champion, has proven that just because you can't stand up doesn't mean you can't stand out. He is the only wheelchair basketball player in the United States to have competed in the Olympic games in Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta, and Sydney. Recently a national award winning video was produced about Mike's life. He was honored by the state of Utah as one of its Top 50 athletes of the past century.
Mike Schlappi earned his Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. As the President of Mike Schlappi Communications and a member of the National Speakers Association, his presentations have inspired thousands of audiences to adapt and overcome. He is an author who has written and published two books about success and motivation.
He was a member of the Board of Trustees for the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.
