Wally Armstrong has played professionally and taught golf since 1968 after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelors and Masters Degree.
After competing in over 300 PGA Tour events with 30 top 10 finishes and a fifth place finish in the Masters, Armstrong gained a lifetime membership to the PGA Tour and Champions Tour. Armstrong is an accomplished clinician and motivational speaker. Since leaving the PGA Tour in 1984 Wally Armstrong has participated in over 500 teaching and speaking events. He is recognized by his peers as one of the most creative teachers of the game.

Rudy Giuliani is a great fan of Wally Armstrong. When interviewed in Golf Illustrated magazine, he entertained the article writer and aides in his office using some of Wally's training aids. “Look at these,” said Giuliani showing three Wally Armstrong instructional tapes to a visitor. “This is great stuff.” Then Giuliani put down the tapes and picked up the hanger, (a swing aid that's shaped like a coat hanger), and proceeds to demonstrate how they showed him how to make the correct wrist set in the golf swing. Giuliani more than likely purchased these videotapes and training tools on Wally's award-winning television show with Kenny Rogers and Pat Summerall (where he has sold over 125,000 packages of videos and training tools).
