After three couples performances, only one champ remained, and that was Green Bay Packers wide receiver, Donald Driver. The winners of ABC’s Season 14 ‘Dancing with the Stars’ were Donald Driver and his professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd.

No one wanted that Mirror Ball Trophy more than Donald Driver and on the finale of DWTS Season 14, Driver's dream came true. With a Super Bowl ring already to his credit, the NFL star can now add the Mirror Ball trophy to his shelf, along with past winners Emmit Smith and Hines Ward.

When Driver was announced as the winner, he couldn’t hold in his excitement, running around the stage, notes MTV News. “Amazing! This is awesome!” he said.

“He’s the best celebrity dance partner anyone could ask for,” Murgatroyd added before Driver was named the winner. “I was lucky.”

Later, Driver told People that he felt the same way about winning DWTS as he did the Super Bowl. “I think it’s the same,” he said. “You have great moments [throughout both experiences].”

He did say that there was one big difference. “It took me 13 years to win a Super Bowl. But it only took me one season to win a mirror ball. I’ve been watching the show for a long time and now I know what [J.R. Martinez] felt last year. That is truly something special. I feel the same way. Right now I’m on cloud nine.”

Driver becomes the third professional football player to win “Dancing With The Stars” following in the footsteps of Emmit Smith and Hines Ward.
