Danyl Johnson sings Relight My Fire by Take That on The X Factor – Live how 8 – Round 1

Judges comments:

Louis: “Danyl, what a great start to the show. You’ve proved you’re not just a one-trick pony. You can sing, you can dance, and Danyl, you deserve to be on that stage. I’m glad you’ve got your mojo back and I think you’re really talented. And round one, you won!”

Dannii: “That was an amazing production, an amazing performance, the choruses were bang on. The verses were pitchy for sure. And I’m not sure about the body rolls. The dance steps were great but I’m not sure about the body rolls!”

Cheryl: “It was as camp as Christmas but in a really fantastic way! I know how tough it is to sing and dance at the same time and you made it look pretty effortless, so well done Danyl.”

Simon: “Taking everything into account on the fact that it was an incredibly complicated routine and you were foot perfect and note perfect. I honestly think you really, really proved a point tonight that you are the type of artist who when anything is thrown at you, you just do it. You proved a point and I’m very, very happy with that performance.”

Lloyd Daniels sings Faith during George Michael week on X Factor – Live Show 7.  Lloyd does a pretty decent job overall and uses his falsetto at the end of the song. Lloyd is cute, very sweet and the girls really love him.  That might be enough to keep Lloyd in the competition this week.

Judges comments:

Dannii: “You look fantastic tonight. It’s like you’ve reinvented yourself. You’ve definitely got something that is The X Factor we just can’t put our finger on it. I just hope the vocals keep going up and up, at the end of the song the falsetto is great, that’s what you need to keep working on.”

Louis: “You’re under a lot of pressure – you’ve come back fighting. Love the haircut, love the image, I love everything but the voice. I think you’re a real popstar, but you’re out of your depth, there are better singers in the show.”

Simon: “Lloyd, that surprised me because that wasn’t bad at all actually. Not saying it was the best vocal I have ever heard. You look a bit better, you’ve started to perform, started to feel believable. Maybe you’ve started to believe in yourself. You’ve stepped up- very good.”

Cheryl: “It’s really amazing for me to watch you grow up. I feel like you’re turning into a little man, it’s adorable. Best performance yet.”

Stacey Solomon sings I Can’t Make You Love Me during George Michael week on  X Factor – Live Show 7. Wow! Another great performance by Stacey.

Judges comments:

Louis: “Last week you absolutely sold it and what I want everyone to know about you is you’re not just a brilliant performer but you’re not phoney and you’ve got star quality. You will definitely be in the final. Dannii picked a brilliant song.”

Cheryl: “What’s happened now is that your voice has become as big as your personality which is what we were all waiting for. Great song choice but what you need to do now is believe you can win because the competition is at the point where you need to start believing in yourself because you could win – you could do it”

Simon: “It showed in the film that you are one of the most genuinely nicest people we have ever had on these shows. I think you’ve turned into a little star. I don’t think it was as good as last week because it was a bit mechanical – the last part was good, the first part was a bit clumsy but there is no question you are going to be here next week.”

Dannii: “It was such an elegant performance, so beautiful… I just have to say, this show is all about dreams and making people’s dreams come true and you have to believe that this can come true because they all do.”

Judges comments:

Dannii: “You look amazing, I want those costumes, so fabulous. I’m going to steal them from your dressing room. You really shocked me tonight. The singing was in tune and the dancing out of time. It was fun.”

Cheryl:  “Out of all the contestants you two have been on the toughest and roughest ride and no matter what happens you should be proud.”

Simon: “I don’t think it was George and Andrew – it was Andrew and Andrew but look, perfect song choice, I do think however, Louis is giving you too much to do. It’s like he’s turned you into his own action men doll. Every week – giving you crazy choreography.”

Louis: “Because they can do it. They never stop rehearsing. Everywhere I go, young girls have been shouting ‘Jedward!’. I’m having the time of my life working with them, but I just want people to vote.”

Olly Murs sings Fast Love during George Michael week on X Factor – Live Show 7. He does a good job as usual and the audience loves him. Olly is too popular and should be safe this week.

Judges comments:

Dannii – “Olly Olly Olly. Essex must be going mad for you tonight. You are really polished now – you know how to rock the audience, it’s a hard song to sing.”
Louis
– “Loved everything about your performance and you have the potential to be new pop star in UK. Robbie, Gary, Will Young – you’re a natural mover, there’s nothing fake about you and everywhere I go girls say ‘Is Olly single?’ You’ve got the potential to win.”
Cheryl – “The best thing about you- you’ve got really broad appeal. Lads think you are cool, girls love you. You just are, no fuss about you – head down, job done, I really like you and I wish you all the best”
Simon – “You are going to have no problems with the chicks when you leave. What I liked about that is that you are turning onto a really good fearless performer, you didn’t just sing, you did that difficult dance break which made it different from original. It was a huge improvement.”

Judges comments:

Louis: “Definitely the best performance of the night. The theme was George Michael though. Madam broke the rules, she picked an Elton John song””
Dannii: “Four Judges standing for you. That was exceptional. When you first walked out, you were nervous and you don’t need to be, such passion and a real honestly to your voice. Love you, you deserve to be here.”
Simon: “Here’s a new rule. We’re going to stop you from speaking because after this young kid gets up on stage, does the performance of his life, absolutely 100% nailed the song and you’ve got the audacity to sit there with your silly, stupid rule book again.. who cares what you think?”
I take a bit of credit for this – I remember saying to you give it an extra 10% and you did, congratulations”
Cheryl: “George Michael sang it! And he had a massive hit with it. You just stole the show.”

Danyl Johnson performs Careful Whisper during George Michael week on X Factor – Live Show 7. Some viewers fear that Danyl may be in danger this week.

Judges comments:

Louis: “There’s no doubt you can sing anything. I think you tried too hard on the song.”
Dannii: “Simon did right thing by choosing the original version for you – you sang it perfectly.”
Cheryl Cole: “To be honest, when you see that, parts of that were flat.”
Simon Cowell: “I think we were listening to two different songs there I genuinely do, because why that was so good, in my opinion, that is what I call respecting the song, taking it, listening to it doing something original with it.”

John And Edward (Jedward) sing Under Pressure during Queen Week on X Factor – Live Show 6. John and Edward may be under pressure this week since they were in the bottom 2 last week. Simon says that he is judging them in Jedward land and gives them high praise. Simon and most of the judges said this was their best performance so far. This was a great arrangement and difficult to boot, but Jedward delivered. They are the most entertaining act amongst all the contestants. Jedward have become my favorite act right now.
