Author: Lance Armstrong isn’t too happy with an Outside Magazine cover that digitally altered his T-shirt to bear a profane slogan that reads “38. BFD.” The number refers to Armstrong’s age and the letters are an acronym for “big [expletive] deal”.
As the cover explains in small text, the garment is “not Armstrong’s real T-shirt,” and the cyclist is not very pleased. On Twitter, he wrote that the text was Photo shopped into the image and called the stunt “lame bullshit.” He also derided the altered photo as “weak.”
Armstrong has been on the cover of Outside Magazine eight times. After this, it may be his last.

PROVO, UT – Gary Coleman, child star of the TV sitcom Diff’rent Strokes, died Friday after suffering an intercranial hemorrhage. He was 42.

Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, where he had been in a coma.
“He was removed from life support; soon thereafter, he passed quickly and peacefully,” his manager John Alcantar says. “By Gary’s bedside were his wife and other close family members.”
The actor suffered an intracranial hemorrhage at his Utah home on Wednesday night. On Thursday, he was “conscious and lucid,” the hospital says in a statement, “but by early afternoon that same day, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened.”

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Police reported that legendary golfer, Chi Chi Rodriguez, was robbed inside his home Wednesday by three assailants who stole cash and jewelry worth $500,000. Rodriguez says he’s doing just fine after being robbed at gunpoint in his home in Puerto Rico this morning.
TMZ just spoke with the 74-year-old golf legend, who told them four men broke into his place at 1:30 this morning, while he and his wife were sleeping. Chi Chi says one of the men tied up a security guard, while three other men rushed inside the home.

SUFFERN, N.Y – Lawrence Taylor, former NFL linebacker, was arrested this morning for allegedly raping and beating a 16 year-old girl. According to CBS News, Taylor, 51, was taken into custody by the Town of Ramapo police after being accused of raping someone in the Holiday Inn Holidome Hotel in Suffern.

The story is still developing and details surrounding the rape have not yet been released other than the location and that it occurred early this morning. Charges against the Hall of Fame linebacker will be filed once police complete their investigation.
A news conference is expected later Thursday afternoon where police will reveal more details.
Taylor, NFL Hall of Famer and former contestant on Dancing With The Stars, is no stranger to the criminal justice system. Last November he was arrested for leaving the scene of a car accident and he was arrested several times in the 1990s on drug charges and for failing to make child support payments.

April 21, 2010 – FOXNews and ESPN report that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended for four to six games on Wednesday for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

On Monday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said the Steeler’s quarterback violated the NFL’s personal-conduct policy with his “pattern of behavior” and “bad judgments.”
Roethlisberger was accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old college student in a Georgia nightclub last month, although he will not face criminal charges. Roethlisberger faced disciplinary action by the NFL following the release of documents outlining tawdry behavior by the two-time Super Bowl winner.
Roethlisberger also is being sued by a different woman who says he raped her in 2008 at a Lake Tahoe hotel-casino. Roethlisberger denies the accusation and was not charged. The NFL is not considering that case while weighing its punishment.
According to Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier, Tiger Woods’ marriage to Elin Nordegren is over. Is it so hard to believe that a divorce is about to be finalized after everything Elin has been through?
