Retired NFL quarterback, Kurt Warner, was finally retired from the dancing floor last night on ‘Dancing With The Stars’. After his elimination, Kurt received a standing ovation and cheers from the audience and fellow contestants as they shouted “M-V-P! M-V-P!” 

Judge Bruno Tonioli praised Warner’s gentlemanly nature saying, “He has proven a true sportsman. His attitude has been immaculate, incredible manners, and regardless of what happens, you have achieved a lot. You really are an American idol.” ... Read Full Story

Troy Aikman may appear on 'Dancing With The Stars'

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Troy Aikman, told TMZ that he is officially on board to do Dancing With The Stars next season, joining the likes of past athletes such as NFL greats Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith.

Aikman was leaving Red O Restaurant in Los Angeles when he broke the news to TMZ reporters.

Apparently there are confliting reports. Aikman in his own words Tweets:

“I will not be on DWTS…interferes with American Idol auditions.

Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram points out, the next season of Dancing With The Stars would conflict with Aikman’s football duties, the show has two “seasons” per year.  So Aikman possibly could have appeared “next year” as in, literally, next year.
