Michael Grimm, the winner of America’s Got Talent 2010, has signed with Epic Records.

In a press release, Epic Records announced the signing of recent America’s Got Talent winner Michael Grimm. The self-described “blue-eyed soul singer” impressed the judges and voters at home with his skillful guitar playing and smooth voice week after week as he covered soul classics like “You Don’t Know Me,” “Let’s Stay Together,” and “When a Man Loves a Woman.” Grimm’s signing follows the path of last season’s AGT winner, country singer Kevin Skinner, who released his debut album Long Ride last September
Dancing With The Stars loves the sports world and NFL quarterback, Kurt Warner is no exception. The Washington Post reports that Kurt Warner, former quarterback of The Arizona Cardinals, will compete on the upcoming fall season of Dancing With the Stars.

The media buzz is that American Idol has gone back to its original three-judge format and the new judges will be Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

American Idol has gone through some major adjustments these days, ever since Simon Cowell left and Simon Lythgoe returned as the show’s executive producer.
Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Troy Aikman, told TMZ that he is officially on board to do Dancing With The Stars next season, joining the likes of past athletes such as NFL greats Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith.
Aikman was leaving Red O Restaurant in Los Angeles when he broke the news to TMZ reporters.
Apparently there are confliting reports. Aikman in his own words Tweets:
“I will not be on DWTS…interferes with American Idol auditions. “
Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram points out, the next season of Dancing With The Stars would conflict with Aikman’s football duties, the show has two “seasons” per year. So Aikman possibly could have appeared “next year” as in, literally, next year.

Bret Michaels has not been shy about wanting the coveted judging spot on American Idol that was recently vacated by Simon Cowell.

Fresh off his win on Celebrity Apprentice, Michaels is riding a wave of popularity.
Brett told Parade Magazine that he’ll be meeting with Idol producers in a few weeks.
PROVO, UT – Gary Coleman, child star of the TV sitcom Diff’rent Strokes, died Friday after suffering an intercranial hemorrhage. He was 42.
Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, where he had been in a coma.
“He was removed from life support; soon thereafter, he passed quickly and peacefully,” his manager John Alcantar says. “By Gary’s bedside were his wife and other close family members.”
The actor suffered an intracranial hemorrhage at his Utah home on Wednesday night. On Thursday, he was “conscious and lucid,” the hospital says in a statement, “but by early afternoon that same day, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened.”
The newest “American Idol” winner Lee DeWyze spoke with the press backstage after his big win. Lee tells the press about his experience, the thrill of it all and the fact that he had to ignore the judges’ after the final performances because he did his best.
