Landon Donovan and the U.S. soccer team scored the game winner in the 91st minute of their match with Algeria. Donovan helped US soccer set a number of records in its 1-0 win today, which made it the top-scoring team in the World Cup Group C.

The United States overcame a two-goal deficit to force a draw against Slovenia on Friday, but the Americans may have deserved to win outright. Shortly after tying the game in the 81st minute, the U.S. had a free kick near the Slovenian goal.
