Tom Seaver Booking Agency Profile

Call PFP Sports Talent Agency at 1.800.966.1380 if you would like to contact a Tom Seaver booking agent for a speaking engagement, personal appearance, product endorsement or corporate event. Tom Seaver’s 20-year career (1967-1986) was marked with power and control on the mound, making him one of the best pitchers in baseball history. Affectionately known as “Tom Terrific”, Seaver spent time with five major league teams but enjoyed most of his success with the New York Mets (1967-1977, 1983).

In 1967, Seaver’s first season with the Mets, he was named National League Rookie of the Year. His success continued as he led the Mets to their first World Series title in 1969. In his 10 years in New York from 1967-1977, he won 25% of the Mets' games. The 17th 300-game winner in Major League history, Seaver set a major league record by striking out 200 or more hitters in 10 seasons, nine in a row from 1968 to 1976.

Midway through the 1977 season, he was traded to Cincinnati, where he played from 1977-1982. He then played for the Chicago White Sox (1984-1986) and the Boston Red Sox (1986).

Seaver played his last season with the Red Sox and ended his career with 3,272 career strikeouts and 311 wins. He was a 12-time All-Star and a three-time Cy Young Award winner. His jersey #41 was retired by the Mets in 1988 and he was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992.
