Kurt will be joined by his wife, Brenda, who will attend the services along with her husband. Kurt will talk about his career, his strong Christian values and he and Brenda’s newest project called Treasure House, which was inspired by his adopted son, Zac who was brain damaged and blind after being dropped by Brenda’s ex-husband. The purpose of Treasure House is to assist young adults with special needs by providing a supportive living community.

When Warner married Brenda, he officially adopted her two children from her first marriage and they have since added five children of their own.

Kurt and Brenda Warner are devout evangelical Christians. After his retirement in 2010, Warner said he was looking forward to finally being a true father to his seven kids, and that he wanted to spend time with his wife. He spoke on the impact and influence of his family, former teammates, and God. Following the 2014 season, Warner will be eligible for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
