Former MLB right fielder, Tony Gwynn, and statistically one of the best and most consistent hitters in baseball history, will appear at the 2013 Hall of Fame Spectacular held on July 26-27 at the Tunnicliff Inn located at 34-36 Pioneer Street in Cooperstown, NY. Gywnn will be available to meet fans and sign autographs on July 26 & July 27 between 2-3:30. Baseball great, Tony Gwynn, was inducted ino the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007. Other Baseball Hall of Famers scheduled to appear at the 2013 Hall of Fame event include Johnny Bench, Wade Boggs, Rod Carew, Dennis Eckersley, Carlton Fisk, Goose Gossage, Tom Seavor and Joe Morgan, just to name a few.
Gywnn played his entire 20-year career (1982–2001) for the San Diego Padres. He won eight batting titles in his career, tied for the second most in MLB history. He was a 15-time All-Star, recognized for his skills both on offense and defense with seven Silver Slugger Awards and five Gold Glove Awards. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.
