According to the Facebook page, there will be tailgate games, prizes, NFL player autographs and discounts on Castrol motor oil but Dan Marino will not sign any outside items and will only be there for 90 minutes even though it is a two hour event:
“Please note: Dan Marino will only sign autograph cards provided at the event. Also, he will only be in attendance for 90 minutes although the event is from 4-6pm.”
Dan Marino was one of the greatest quarterbacks in American football history. One of the most prolific passing quarterbacks in NFL history, Marino holds 25 NFL regular season records and is tied for five others after a 17-year career with the Miami Dolphins. Marino became an instant star and was a first-round draft pick by the Dolphins in 1983. In 1983 he became the only rookie quarterback to ever start the Pro Bowl and in his second season in 1984 he was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player. Marino played in 18 post-season playoff games and led the Dolphins to the Super Bowl in 1985 against San Francisco. Marino won the Dolphins MVP Award 12 times and the team has since named the award after him. On August 7, 2005 Marino was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame
