Aaron Rodgers Tops NFL Most Marketable Players List

An exclusive survey of sports business execs, analysts and media personalities was recently conducted by SportsBusiness Daily.  The survey asked corporate brand managers, marketing and brand executives, agencies and football media to list, in order, the top five most marketable players in the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Ray Lewis make NFL top ten most marketable players list.

Aaron Rodgers was named on 41 of 50 ballots and came out on top beating out Patriots QB Tom Brady, but Brady did receive 15 first-place votes compared to 12 for Rodgers. Three other QBs, the Colts’ Peyton Manning, the Saints’ Drew Brees and the Broncos’ Tim Tebow rounded out the top five.

Nola.com reports:

Quarterbacks not surprisingly dominated the survey, with eight signal-callers making the top 11. The Steelers’ Troy Polamalu is the highest-ranking defensive player.
