DEERFIELD, IL. — Former Chicago Bulls star, Scottie Pippen, will be hosting the Scottie Pippen Skills Camp on June 10-13 for boys ages 8-15 and girls ages 10-14. Pippen will be on the court all four days, working directly with the players and teaching his techniques. Pippen and his highly qualified staff have developed a four-day camp curriculum focused on fundamental basketball skills: ball handling, free throws, footwork & rebounding.

OPELIKA, AL — Bruce Pearl, Auburn basketball’s new head coach, was the keynote speaker on Tuesday, May 13, at the Opelika Rotary Club’s weekly lunch held at Saugahatchee Country Club in Opelika, AL. ORLANDO, FL — In celebration of “Legends Nights,” former Orlando Magic legend and seven-time NBA All-Star, Grant Hill, was honored by the Orlando Magic at the end of the first quarter during the March 25 matchup vs. the Portland Trail Blazers. The evening featured a center court presentation at the end of the first quarter. Hill joined FOX Sports Florida’s broadcasts including Magic Live pregame show with hosts Paul Kennedy and Nick Anderson and join broadcasters David Steele and Jeff Turner for a portion of the game broadcast.

INDIAN WELLS, CA. — Former NBA legend, Magic Johnson, has been named the keynote speaker at Desert Christian Academy’s 24th annual auction gala fundraiser to be held on March 29th at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, California. The benefit is the school’s primary fundraiser for the school of 500 students. Tickets to the event are $150 per person. The school’s annual auction gala is their primary fundraiser, and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit the school’s 500 students.

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Former NC State basketball legend and NBA star, David Thompson, was the keynote speaker on November 21, at the annual dinner fundraiser for the Community Boys & Girls Club in Wilmington, N.C. Before the actual event took place, Thompson held a news conference where he spoke about the issues of gang violence in the New Hanover County area and the specific need for after-school programs and a safe place for youth.
