12-Time Pro Bowler Champ Bailey Retires

Twelve time Pro Bowler  Champ Bailey has decided to retire from the NFL, putting an end to a long and illustrious career. The 36-year-old cornerback spent most of his 15-season career with the Denver Broncos, but after being released by the Broncos at the end of last season and being cut by the New Orleans Saints this season due to a foot injury, Bailey decided to move on to pursue other career opportunities. BYU graduate and NFL quarterback, Jim McMahon, became an official member of Brigham Young University’s Athletic Hall of Fame this week. McMahon’s jersey #9 was retired at the game on Oct. 3, 2014. McMahon is the sixth former BYU football player to have his number retired, following Eldon Fortie, Marion Probert, Steve Young, Gifford Nielsen and Ty Detmer.
